Whats in my school bag?

Whats in my school bag?

Since I was so bored today with no homework to do whatsoever, I decided why not do a 'whats in my school bag?' post where I could show you what I carry to school. As I am aware you should all be familiar with this tag as many YouTubers and bloggers have done this in the past which is one of my favorites, it allows you to steal many of their organisational tips and ideas but of course since its my first tag post, it may not be as good as theirs anyways lets get started...

So this is the bag which I take to school and carry all my school items in. It from New Look sold for £14.99.   This bag features double buckle straps, snap buckle fastening, crocodile print flap, carry handle and an adjustable shoulder strap. It is a stylish satchel which can be used for work/college/everyday use.

  1. Marc by Marc Jacobs make-up bag where I keep all these small items.
  2. No7 Protect & Perfect day cream, sample size.
  3. Carmex lip balm for whenever I have dry lips, plus it smells great too!
  4. Carex Protect + Plus hand gel
  5. Eucerin face cream, sample size.
  6. Mirror (which belongs to one of my friends!)
  7. Next Just Pink EDT in case I enter a room which smells like someone died in there.
  8. New Look coin purse

I don't carry much stationary with me as most of the subjects I do for my A-levels are coursework based which requires a computer. The ones which I keep with me are used to take down notes in lesson. Writing my notes in pencil is what I prefer the most as it allows me to write faster which means I can catch up to my teachers notes.

My school diary, notebook and a thin folder which I put all the handouts which I get from my subject teachers. So this is it guys, finished my first tag post! :D Let me know in the comment box below what you carry in your school bag! :)

New CID cosmetic i-flutter

CID Cosmetic i-Flutter mascara.

i-Flutter is a mascara which is introduced by a new brand known as CID cosmetics. It is a double brush lengthening mascara that is sold at a reasonable price due to its great qualities and expensive looking packaging. The mascara itself works very well by separating each individual lash as well as giving it a natural look.

I believe this is one of my favorite mascara out of all the mascara's I have in my collection although I am much of a fake lashes girl, I always give this mascara a go when am not in a mood of wearing eyelashes or when am going to school. It is one of the best mascara's I have ever used along with No7 extreme lengths mascara which I haven't repurchased due to owning this fabulous to-die-for mascara. The reason I must say I labelled this product 'to-die-for' would be because it lengthens my lashes to an extent where they look naturally long and seem like I am not wearing any product on my lashes as they still look natural yet lengthy!

CID cosmetic have done a brilliant job with designing the package very well, it has a mirror effect which gives it an expensive look and something which you wont feel cheap when taking it out in public. Even though it may look heavy, I do say it is still not a con as it makes the product feel expensive and pricey.

It is a double brush which allows one to give their lashes volume and length without giving them a clumpy look as it works well for separating each lash brilliantly. By using one or two coats of the product, it gives a natural look which you can wear to school or work whereas by using three or more coats, it gives a dramatic look to an eye which can be worn when going out to dinner or parties which is the whole reason why this mascara is worth every penny.

The brush of the product is full of bristles which works fine to separate each lash and give a clump free finish. Its works fantastically well and is sold at the price of £18.50 throughout my online stores. It is a an awesome product for eyelashes as well as brilliant for those who have sensitive eyes. It is not something which will fade away or flake off after a couple of hours and it definitely isn't hard to wash off.

Let me know in the comments box below what you think of this product. :)

Everyday make-up products.

What make-up products do you use everyday?

Every girl must have make-up products which they might apply quickly on the go as they are getting ready for school/college/work, right? The products which you apply not thinking too much about them or fussing over which lipstick to wear today. The products which you dump into your make-up while running out of the house or maybe those products that you wear on a daily basis. So here is what I wear everyday to school as I only have 10 minutes to get ready and still look decent. (I think haha!)

1. Maybelline Dream Nude Airfoam: Gives your skin a flawless finish, feeling light and can be applied within a minute although it does tend to fade away after a couple of hours.

2. Revlon foundation brush: Used to apply the foundation. Has soft bristles and even outs the foundation very well.

3. Bare Minerals Stroke Of Light: An eye brightener which is applied around the eyes so it makes them look wide awake and hides the under eye bags well.

4. Frontcover small black liner with smudger: Lasts all day with soft black colour, although i do sometimes prefer Maybelline Eye Studio gel liner.

5. Bourjois Lilas D'or Little Round Pot blush: Warm blend of pink, orange and brown with a golden sheen that gives you a natural look with great pigmentation.

6. AVON cosmetic angled blusher brush: Great for applying blusher, soft bristles and only picks up a little amount of product which is perfect for me.

7. Cover Girl TruShine lip colour in shade 405: Natural pink shade which blends well with my own lip colour, moisturizes and works perfect as a tinted lip balm.

Now that I had the chance to share with you my everyday make-up products, I would love to see what you use everyday for your make-up routine in the comments box below! :)

Frontcover 'Eye Popping' palette

Frontcover Eye Popping eye shadow palette.

Frontcover is a make-up brand which is mainly sold throughout Boots online and stores during Christmas time where they put their items on 3 for 2 offer. Their products are of great quality and fun to get creative with as well as being affordable! The palette which I have chosen to discuss with you is called the 'eye popping' palette as am sure you can tell by the name that this product is all about creating eyes which stand out and still look perfect!

This palette consists of 18 fine line baked powder eye shadows, double ended eye applicator and a cheek brush.

I would say these eye shadows are great for parties and going out as they are glittery and shimmery rainbow-like colours. The top row of the palette consists of three neutral colours and three pastel purple-y colours whereas they second row consists of gorgeous dark blues and purples and two pastel colours which are green (icy green) and light blue (baby's eyes).

The bottom of the palette consists of six pink neutral shades which are very shimmery that can either be used as highlighters (coral puff and point pink) or blush if one wears them very lightly or else they will end up looking like orange umpa lumpas! But honestly I would say they are way too shimmery for being used on face or cheeks other than eyes.

The texture of the eye shadows, I would say depends on the shade as some may appear better than others, for example the shade 'tie blue' appears more matte than the shade 'baby eyes' which is a shade that is frosty and gives a shimmery finish.

Having to experience these eye shadows, I would definitely say that they are pretty good pigmented. Obviously some are better than others as they all have a different finish to them. The bright colours seem to be more pigmented and appear better than the dark ones. They do not create creases or wear off after a few hours which is quite impressive. However, the glitter does fall out from the matte looking shades which I would say it still not a huge disappointment.

Overall, I would rate the palette 9/10.

PROS:
-Amazing colours
-Great price
-Crease proof
-Can be applied without a primer and still look brilliant
-18 shades in one palette
-Has a mirror
-Instructions on creating different looks on the back
-Greatly pigmented

CONS:
-Glitter falls out at times from the dark shades
-Heavy case

August Favorites

August favorites.

Hey guys, since today is the last day of August, I thought why not post my August favorite beauty products. For so many years I've been reading and watching other beauty bloggers do their monthly favorites, so I finally decided to do my own! And am so excited to show you which products I have fell in love with through out thsis month. Lets get started...

The first thing that I have been using a lot in this month is the black eyeliner by 'Frontcover' Cosmetic, it is a mini black kohl pencil with a smudger. This eyeliner is not sold separately as it is from one of the winter collections by Frontcover called 'Top Drawer' that are sold in Boots stores and online during Christmas season. However this collection can be bought from Ebay if you guys are interested. The eyeliner it self works brilliant, it is highly pigmented and lasts for as long as 8 hours without getting smudged or rubbed off whatsoever. The colour comes out as soft black which I thought was good if one is hoping to achieve a smokey eye with the liner, even better it has a smudger at the end! I would say the texture of the eyeliner is a bit on the down side, as its not as creamy which can make one apply this eyeliner a several times before it shows. For this reason i would give the texture of the eyeliner 8/10.

The next product is also from the Frontcover 'Top Drawer' collection which is an icy blue colour known as 'Chalk'. This eyeliner has a very creamy texture compared to the black liner from the same collection, it comes on very smooth and gives an instant sparkle to an eye as it contains silver glitter. What can be more dazzling than wearing this under your eyes to look extra glamorous? This eyeliner can also be used for highlighting the brow bone as the colour is more of a white than a blue as well as using it in the inner corner of an eye and on the lower lash line.

I am sure you must have heard that the Bare Minerals have introduced their new eye brightener which goes by the name of 'Stroke Of Light'...If you are a Bare Minerals fan. Okay, so let me inform you why I have chosen this product. First of all, for a very long time I was on a hunt for a primer so that I could apply it on my eyelid so that my eye shadow could stay on for long. So when I tried this eye brightener not only did it work as an excellent eye brighter it was also useful for using it as an eye primer. I am very impressed with this product. The second quality that I like about this eye brightener is that, it is very helpful for hiding the eye bags if I have had less sleep. Using the shade Luminous 3, it is of a creamy beige tint base which is perfect for  completely correct my under eye bags. This product applies evenly, and stays put on for as long as 10-15 hours without creating creases on the eye. For this reason this product is one of my favorites that I have used through out the month.

The next product to hit my August favorite list was the bronzer from No7 which I have no idea what its called as it was from the bronzer collection sold through out Christmas season. August is definitely the month where shimmery bronzers and highlighters look so heavenly on the cheeks. I would say this bronzer has it all! Its beyond perfect! It has five different colours and each one of them giving their unique sparkle and shimmer to the cheeks. It consists of three different colour highlighters as well as two different colour bronzers, brilliant right? The product applies on pretty good however there are also two negatives points about this bronzer, one of them is that it can make you look to shimmery and the other one is that it doesnt stay on for long. Other then that, I would definitely recommend this product to all the sun goddesses!

And finally the last product which made it into my August favorites list would be...GIRLS WITH ATTITUDE-GLAMOUR TO GO EYELASHES!! I absolutely love these eyelashes, for them I have completely ditched my mascaras. They look very natural on my eyelashes adding a bit of glamour to them which makes me think am some kind of supermodel, flickering my lashes! The lashes can be easily applied and are re-usable, and the best thing about them is that they feel very light on the eyes, almost like your just wearing mascara. The design is very girly and glamorous which is why they must have called it 'glamour to go'.

So this is it guys, now that I have showed you my favorites, I would love it if you can share the products you have chosen as your August favorites in the comment box below! :)

Revlon ColorBurst™ Lip Butter- Candy Apple

Revlon ColorBurst™ Lip Butter

Revlon lip butters are described as buttery balms with beautiful shiny colour to give you baby sift, healthy glowing lips. Through out UK they are sold for £7.99 which is a reasonable price offer for a product which includes two in one quality (balm+colour). Before they arrived in the UK, everyone in the US were on the hype about how great they were and nearly every beauty blogger had tested them out. For this reason, beauty addicts in the UK could not wait for them to arrive and when they did, they were sold out in every store, whenever I or others went looking for them. Basically, everyone went on a crazy hunt for them.

The lip butter which I have is called 'Candy Apple', it is a bright red hue with a slight yellow tone that gives a plain glossy finish with no shimmer or glitter whatsoever. The colour that the lip butter gives to the lips depends on the colour of the lips one has, mine are more on the dark side as am an Asian (Pakistani) so it appears exactly how the colour looks on the stick however for those girls who have lighter lips, it can appear as deep coral. This red shade is very natural looking compared to other reds that can be bought. I would say it is something which can be worn at daytime without it looking too much on the lips and the finish that it gives is very effortless too which adds to the great qualities it has.

With flash.
I would say that this shade is quite pigmented as i have not tried the others except Raspberry Pie from this range. It stays on my lips for a long time, lets say 3-4 hours without re-applying the product. For me this kind of lasting power is okay-ish as am someone who doesn't normally wear lip products which give out bright colour like this one. The colour of this product comes out quite opaque on my lips as its a very light red and gives a medium coverage which is great for those who don't fancy wearing lip products that are bright and outstanding.

Applied lightly
Applied dark
When applying the product, it comes out very creamy as it can be also used for moisturizing lip whilst giving them a bit of colour. It is very easy to apply however it is a product which one will have to re-apply to get the perfect shade they might be looking. Personally, i feel that this product is very impressive and great for those who love tinted lip balms!

Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner

Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner.

Maybelline describes its gel liner to give a 'natural or dramatic' look in a flick of an eye. It is sold in Boots for only 7.99 which i believe is an amazing price offer due to the eyeliner being able to stay on for as long as 24hours. The colour range that is sold throughout Boots is only in colour black which is quite a disappointment as it would be great if it was also sold in other colours too like purple, brown or blue.
When applying this product i believe the colour is very intense and comes on easily without having to apply it again and again which is brilliant. It gives an intense look to an eye which shows the products has some great qualities and instantly you will get complement from your fellow colleagues or friends.
Applying the gel liner can be done in two different ways due to the rush giving a fine precise line if one is looking for daytime look however it can also achieve a dramatic look.

As far as i know most brands do not give a brush with their gel liners which i believe is annoying as then you will have to go out of your way to find a brush which will apply the gel liner well. On the other hand, Maybelline kindly enough provides its customers with a brush which is totally helpful as it very good at creating both thick and thin defined lines.
The gel of the liner is smooth and creamy which is way one will be able to achieve the look they are looking for without any difficulties. It applies on pretty fast without having to apply the product again and again to darken the liner. I believe the colour of the liner is great as it is not so light so that you will have to apply product more than once. The liquid is also not too dry or too wet which is amazing.
The lasting power of this gel liner is brilliant, it stays on for as long as one wishes for. When i go to school in the morning i always apply this on and when i come back it is still on without flaking off or getting smudged.
Considering that this gel liner is brilliant with long lasting power it is also relatively cheap and can be found anywhere such as Boots or your local pharmacy. I would recommend this gel liner to all you girls who want an eye liner which is cheap yet works as great as high end brands.

L’Oreal new elvive extraordinary oil review.

L'Oreal new elvive extraordinary oil
L’Oreal describes their new elvive extraordinary oil as something which nourishes the hair giving it it’s on natural beauty and radiance. It has a precious blend of six flower extracts with nourishing properties for sumptuous softness and luxurious shine. It can be used in three different ways which are before shampoo for nourishment, before styling for protection and transformation and lastly as a finishing touch which is for softness and luxurious shine.
Having hair which are natural and not coloured ever, I thought this product would be great for my hair as it was available for two hair types: Coloured hair and for all hair types. The product which I chose for myself was for all hair types obviously as I don’t have coloured hair. I personally would describe my hair as oily, dull and lifeless. I never get dandruff in my hair and don’t have split ends so my hair would be classed as normal/oily type.
After being able to try this product out kindly sent by L'Oreal I would defiantly say that my hair felt a bit healthy and nourished as I have only used it for two weeks ever since I received it. I noticed that applying this product before shampoo made my hair smoother and shiner which meant that I did not have to use a conditioner if I didn’t want to, completely my choice. It immediately made my hair look fuller and each strand of my hair looked much better. When I go out to buy products for my hair I always read the reviews first however for this product I noticed that I was one of the few who were chosen by L’Oreal to try out this product, I was completely honored for being picked as it meant that I could give people out there who were looking for something which nourishes their hair my own opinion and views.
There are many ways which this product can be applied to on hair. Being chosen to try out this product I thought I would be sensible if I tried out all the ways possible so that I could see which one was suited best for me and which one would suit others with different hair type. Using this product before shampoo as mentioned before made my hair feel smoother and shiner which meant that using conditioner was optional. I also believed that it gave my hair the nourishment it needed in order to achieve the healthy look in the comings weeks.
Another way which I applied the product was just before drying my hair so that when my hair are getting dried the oil will sink in my scalp. Using the product this way made my hair feel mc fuller and lively. They did not feel dull and rough any more like they usually do after I dry my hair. I also noticed that it kept my hair in one place which meant that there was less spraying to do in order to keep my hair together and not flying all over the place.
Lastly, I applied this product for finishing touch so that my hair achieves sumptuous softness and luxurious shine and it did. My hair felt completely soft and smooth, something which never happens after I apply my hair spray to keep my hair in place. This product transformed my hair into something which I always wanted even better as it was done utterly naturally. It gave my hair a healthy glow which was amazing. I think I am in love with this product!
I believe that using this product 10 minutes before shampooing does achieve the best results. One should only use two drops of this product and gently massage it into the scalps using pads of the fingers to avoid breakage of hair. Using this technique will gain the best results as it gives hair the nourishment it needs to grow faster and much healthier and you will notice eventually that there are less split ends to deal with which is defiantly a great feeling.

I use this product every time I wash my hair so that it gives my hair the nourishment it needs in order to grow healthier and lively. I hate having dull hair as it gives my nightmares having to backcomb my hair so that it volumize’s them. This product is something which I believe I will be using for a very long time as it is such a great product; I don’t think I would be able to wash my hair properly without applying this product anymore. It is that one product which I have been looking for a very long time and surprising after using it, it has become my must have product.

The three things which I absolutely love about this product is that first of all every hair needs its food and I believe that this product is great nourishment for every individuals hair who want good sustenance for their hair. It has a precious blend of six flower extracts with nourishing properties to achieve the best result. Second thing which I love about this product is that oil does not make my hair look oily after applying this after shampooing my hair rather it gives it a natural lift and shine which looks like I have already used styling products and third of all this product is great for all hair types which means that individuals who maybe have frizzy or thick hair won’t have to buy a separate oil to match their hair type. It’s a product which will provide every hair type the nourishment and the shine it wants which I believe is absolutely amazing and unique.

I would defiantly recommend this product to my family and friends, in fact I already have. My mum also is in love with this product as she has frizzy hair and believes that it keeps her hair in one place. I don’t think me and my mum will ever get sick of using this product as its one of the best hair enhancers out in the market at the moment.

The product which I was using for my hair was Ojon damage reverse restorative hair serum which is sold for £16 for 25ml. Even though this product that I have been using for the past few months and found it good however I still believe the L’Oreal’s elvive extraordinary oil is much more better and hopefully will be cheaper than the Ojon hair serum.
