Whats in my school bag?

Whats in my school bag?

Since I was so bored today with no homework to do whatsoever, I decided why not do a 'whats in my school bag?' post where I could show you what I carry to school. As I am aware you should all be familiar with this tag as many YouTubers and bloggers have done this in the past which is one of my favorites, it allows you to steal many of their organisational tips and ideas but of course since its my first tag post, it may not be as good as theirs anyways lets get started...

So this is the bag which I take to school and carry all my school items in. It from New Look sold for £14.99.   This bag features double buckle straps, snap buckle fastening, crocodile print flap, carry handle and an adjustable shoulder strap. It is a stylish satchel which can be used for work/college/everyday use.

  1. Marc by Marc Jacobs make-up bag where I keep all these small items.
  2. No7 Protect & Perfect day cream, sample size.
  3. Carmex lip balm for whenever I have dry lips, plus it smells great too!
  4. Carex Protect + Plus hand gel
  5. Eucerin face cream, sample size.
  6. Mirror (which belongs to one of my friends!)
  7. Next Just Pink EDT in case I enter a room which smells like someone died in there.
  8. New Look coin purse

I don't carry much stationary with me as most of the subjects I do for my A-levels are coursework based which requires a computer. The ones which I keep with me are used to take down notes in lesson. Writing my notes in pencil is what I prefer the most as it allows me to write faster which means I can catch up to my teachers notes.

My school diary, notebook and a thin folder which I put all the handouts which I get from my subject teachers. So this is it guys, finished my first tag post! :D Let me know in the comment box below what you carry in your school bag! :)

New CID cosmetic i-flutter

CID Cosmetic i-Flutter mascara.

i-Flutter is a mascara which is introduced by a new brand known as CID cosmetics. It is a double brush lengthening mascara that is sold at a reasonable price due to its great qualities and expensive looking packaging. The mascara itself works very well by separating each individual lash as well as giving it a natural look.

I believe this is one of my favorite mascara out of all the mascara's I have in my collection although I am much of a fake lashes girl, I always give this mascara a go when am not in a mood of wearing eyelashes or when am going to school. It is one of the best mascara's I have ever used along with No7 extreme lengths mascara which I haven't repurchased due to owning this fabulous to-die-for mascara. The reason I must say I labelled this product 'to-die-for' would be because it lengthens my lashes to an extent where they look naturally long and seem like I am not wearing any product on my lashes as they still look natural yet lengthy!

CID cosmetic have done a brilliant job with designing the package very well, it has a mirror effect which gives it an expensive look and something which you wont feel cheap when taking it out in public. Even though it may look heavy, I do say it is still not a con as it makes the product feel expensive and pricey.

It is a double brush which allows one to give their lashes volume and length without giving them a clumpy look as it works well for separating each lash brilliantly. By using one or two coats of the product, it gives a natural look which you can wear to school or work whereas by using three or more coats, it gives a dramatic look to an eye which can be worn when going out to dinner or parties which is the whole reason why this mascara is worth every penny.

The brush of the product is full of bristles which works fine to separate each lash and give a clump free finish. Its works fantastically well and is sold at the price of £18.50 throughout my online stores. It is a an awesome product for eyelashes as well as brilliant for those who have sensitive eyes. It is not something which will fade away or flake off after a couple of hours and it definitely isn't hard to wash off.

Everyday make-up products.

What make-up products do you use everyday?

Every girl must have make-up products which they might apply quickly on the go as they are getting ready for school/college/work, right? The products which you apply not thinking too much about them or fussing over which lipstick to wear today. The products which you dump into your make-up while running out of the house or maybe those products that you wear on a daily basis. So here is what I wear everyday to school as I only have 10 minutes to get ready and still look decent. (I think haha!)

1. Maybelline Dream Nude Airfoam: Gives your skin a flawless finish, feeling light and can be applied within a minute although it does tend to fade away after a couple of hours.

2. Revlon foundation brush: Used to apply the foundation. Has soft bristles and even outs the foundation very well.

3. Bare Minerals Stroke Of Light: An eye brightener which is applied around the eyes so it makes them look wide awake and hides the under eye bags well.

4. Frontcover small black liner with smudger: Lasts all day with soft black colour, although i do sometimes prefer Maybelline Eye Studio gel liner.

5. Bourjois Lilas D'or Little Round Pot blush: Warm blend of pink, orange and brown with a golden sheen that gives you a natural look with great pigmentation.

6. AVON cosmetic angled blusher brush: Great for applying blusher, soft bristles and only picks up a little amount of product which is perfect for me.

7. Cover Girl TruShine lip colour in shade 405: Natural pink shade which blends well with my own lip colour, moisturizes and works perfect as a tinted lip balm.

Now that I had the chance to share with you my everyday make-up products, I would love to see what you use everyday for your make-up routine in the comments box below! :)

Frontcover 'Eye Popping' palette

Frontcover Eye Popping eye shadow palette.

Frontcover is a make-up brand which is mainly sold throughout Boots online and stores during Christmas time where they put their items on 3 for 2 offer. Their products are of great quality and fun to get creative with as well as being affordable! The palette which I have chosen to discuss with you is called the 'eye popping' palette as am sure you can tell by the name that this product is all about creating eyes which stand out and still look perfect!

This palette consists of 18 fine line baked powder eye shadows, double ended eye applicator and a cheek brush.

I would say these eye shadows are great for parties and going out as they are glittery and shimmery rainbow-like colours. The top row of the palette consists of three neutral colours and three pastel purple-y colours whereas they second row consists of gorgeous dark blues and purples and two pastel colours which are green (icy green) and light blue (baby's eyes).

The bottom of the palette consists of six pink neutral shades which are very shimmery that can either be used as highlighters (coral puff and point pink) or blush if one wears them very lightly or else they will end up looking like orange umpa lumpas! But honestly I would say they are way too shimmery for being used on face or cheeks other than eyes.

The texture of the eye shadows, I would say depends on the shade as some may appear better than others, for example the shade 'tie blue' appears more matte than the shade 'baby eyes' which is a shade that is frosty and gives a shimmery finish.

Having to experience these eye shadows, I would definitely say that they are pretty good pigmented. Obviously some are better than others as they all have a different finish to them. The bright colours seem to be more pigmented and appear better than the dark ones. They do not create creases or wear off after a few hours which is quite impressive. However, the glitter does fall out from the matte looking shades which I would say it still not a huge disappointment.

Overall, I would rate the palette 9/10.

PROS:
-Amazing colours
-Great price
-Crease proof
-Can be applied without a primer and still look brilliant
-18 shades in one palette
-Has a mirror
-Instructions on creating different looks on the back
-Greatly pigmented

CONS:
-Glitter falls out at times from the dark shades
-Heavy case
